Note: Firmware update may take several minutes to complete, please do not interrupt while processing

Disconnect the cable from both the PC and SPOT Gen4
Remove the batteries from the SPOT Gen4
Verify the cable is firmly connected to both the PC and SPOT Gen4
Try updating the firmware
Ensure the most recent Updater Tool is being used. Launching the tool directly from the website will ensure the latest updater version is being used
If still not completing the update, reboot the PC
If still not completing the update, try using a different USB cable and/or PC

Note: Ensure USB cable is capable of data transfer
